Title: Front prop on WJ with 4 inch plus lift
Post by: nomadsz on December 14, 2012, 10:07:25 PM
OK guys

I have been looking around here and on other web forum and the concensus of opion is that you must go for a Double Double UJ fornt prop or as Tom would call it a  "multiple double cardan drive shaft (4 U joints)" to ensure that you get no vibrations.

So i would have to get THIS:
(https://birtydastards.com/frm/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.4xshaft.com%2FCherokee%2Faa2s131131long_360x60.jpg&hash=ad56a3e7775febb60411d3fe9971be016eaed760)

Now as a complete geek i drool at something that pretty and engineered. However has anyone used high angle CV joints instead or is there a reason not to??

Finally the price of the prop is not that cheap and the shipping on top is hideous, so where in the UK could i get something like this made or does someone have a contact at GKN??
