Title: 2'' Suspension Lift
Post by: STUARTF on January 06, 2013, 10:34:42 AM
:017: Morning All, following a few chats last evening and Eblag Trawl I have found a little modification I may undertake. Is the 2'' suspension lift (Pucks) easy and ok to install. Any issues I may need to factor in. :ecomcity:
Cheers Stuart

Have you spoken to Jedi about his 3" IRO lift? complete kit, springs, shocks, polybushed control arms, adjustable top arms, alloy billet spacer for the A frame, extended drop links etc.  It's bloody cheap considering what he paid for it!

Is this a difficult kit to add any special tools/workshop gear, or is it axle stands and spanners and whats cheap !?.
Jedi do you have a price in mind before I consider buying the suspension lift

Stuart

As bigjeepzj says spanners & axle stands.

I fitted my 'pucks' in a couple of hours - I was also changing shocks cos mine were done! :icon_winkle:

also keep an eye out for a set of 2.7CRD springs they are 1" taller and it all adds to extra clearance.

Cheers

Dougie

Look!!

Puk's are a cheap option, they are kind of a reverse Viagra option, that is it gives the appearance of a stiff lift!!!

Cheap viagra mines a whiskey. But honestly I will go with the pucks first due to xmas expenditure. If I can drop on taller springs as well then I will do this. :peekaboo:

Cheers to Phil for ordering me the 2'' puck lift kit, just collected and will fit Tues / Wed. Have I read somewhere that there was confusion on which part of the spring they mated to. As in top or bottom of springs. As they dont come with any destructions can anyone give guidance pleeaaassseeeee.
