Title: Heater blowing hot one side, and cold on the other
Post by: sid2003 on January 21, 2013, 08:15:37 PM
Hi Guys im new to this forum but not to my problem, I have tried on other forums with no luck.
I cannot find why my heater is only blowing hot on the passenger side and cold on the drivers. The foot vent both blow hot, its just the front vents and windowscreen vents that blow half/half. I have a right handrive 1995 YJ Sahara. The americans were telling me its a flap in the cowl. But they have that type on LHD's, on my RHD its a box type heater box. Which is a different system.
This is a link to the other forum with many pictures and responses. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/heater-only-blowing-hot-passenger-side-1457150/ (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/heater-only-blowing-hot-passenger-side-1457150/)
If anyone can shed and light I will forever be in you debt.
Cheers

Well after doing some research my yj was made with a heater that was only put in a few. And soon after the company went bust. that's prob why it's not in any manuals or anything. Do u think it would be possible to change to the more common system with no modification?
