Mine have got the grooves in them like the picture below and so have the knuckles on my spares Jeep.

The backs of them have also been fucked where some garage has attempted to grind of the head of i guess a stubborn wheel bearing bolt and ground off quite a chunk of the knuckle, so the wheel bearing is only held by 2 bolts and the remains of whats left of the other bolt, so i'll need to rectify this as well.
How much do you want for the pair of knuckles you've got on the axle thats about to be weighed in? It would save me the hassle of unbolting them from my spares jeep to then go down the weldy weldy route.

Where abouts are you? if you collect them, they are yours free, otherwise just the cost of the postage.
So are you gonna swap the wheel bearing so it is held on with 3 bolts?
-
Hi there, could you PM and we can arrange some beer tokens for your trouble and the postage costs for the knuckles.
I'm down in Wellingborough or South Leicester if I'm at the gf place.
Depending where abouts you are in Lincoln I do have a friend up that way that could possibly collect to save you postage hassles
Many thanks, I really could do with my ZJ back on the road as my rwd Volvo fun car is useless in snow!!
Yep I intend to bolt the wheel bearing back on properly, I have bought 6new bolts as the others look like they will shear the head off
