Title: Dana 44 drum backing plate

Guys,

Can anyone tell me if you can remove the backing plate from the axle without removing the bearing/retainer? It's a 1 piece full floating axle

Has anyone got a spare backing plate lying around for the rear CJ D44? If so could you trace the centre hole and retaining bolt holes onto a piece of paper and scan it through to me.

Fully floating ? You had a warn full floater upgrade

If its the semi float as god made it at the factory backplate comes out with shaft

Yes sorry I got it wrong, standard semi floating axle, thanks Bubba
