Title: Steering box adjustment
Post by: Jamie Read on April 21, 2013, 03:20:12 PM
I read somewhere that you can adjust the steering on a ZJ at the box and was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a guide.
My steering has always been a little slack and I would like to tweak it a bit

Online FSMs show how to adjust the box

To do it properly the box needs to be off the vehicle and empty of fluid, an inch-lb torque wrench is also needed but I could probably do it by feel having done it a time or two.
