is the D35 up to the job, and secondly what are your thoughts on sticking one in the front axle, various opinions for and against on the net.
-
Have no idea about the D35 but yes OK in the front especially if you have lock out hubs, this way you can open it up for on road and lock for offroading, quite popular in the US.
-
Green Jeep is the chap to talk to about lunch box lockers.... I have one but I haven't fitted it yet but I anticipate fitting it to the rear
-
I got one in the back of my D35 & its awesome :ace: No problems so far and I wheel mine pretty hard in mountains of Wales!! :lol_hitting:
I do have a spare axle though, just incase :icon_winkle: As for the front they rave about them in the US & apparently if you drive in 4wd on the roads the trick is to coast around corners so you don't go in a straight line!!

PM's sent...
Well worth fitting, once you've fitted once I'm sure you'll be wanting one in the other end.
Llama 4x4 sell the spartan ones.
Happy days, Maf

I had a trutrac lsd in my d35, snapped a shaft really easy couple years back, mildly upgraded to a chrysler 8.25 and fitted a spartan (imported mine from the states, didnt know Lamma sold them :icon_rolleyes:) the diff has to be open though :icon_winkle: apparently they are awsome in the front too and spartans get good reviews too which is why I went for it.
