Post by: taz4x4 on April 28, 2013, 02:37:10 PM
Just one of those niggling little problems that someone may have solved before?
Rear screen wiper not working i can hear solenoid clicking so some power getting to it and works fine if i run a direct feed and earth to the motor Any ideas anyone?

it probably sized and therefore it may be burn out.
You need to strip it down and have a look see if the motor moves

ok broken wire or connector where the wire's go from the door to the body that's the other thing that happens
I take it that all the fuses are checked

If the switch lights up when you put the headlights on it shouldn't be the switch but that is a common problem

Gonna have to check them again tried initially but after nearly crippling myself to get to them! Decided as i could hear the clicking solenoid power must? be getting to it unless there is a  separate feed for solenoid and another for the motor itself?
As i said hate electrics Lol
Ah well back outside for another look  :jpshakehead:

It will be in the joint between the car and the rear boot... Its a pain to do but if you pull the rubber out from either side and take the brake light out it helps.
