Title: Warn winch service uk

any ideas where i can get mine sorted, it really is not very well, its an 8724 so service deffo cheaper than a new one

Fancy doing it yourself????

Cos if ya do there's a whole world out there on Pirate 4x4 complete rebuild type stuff.

best thing to do is undo the 3 1/4" Allen bolts on the top housing and lift the top housing and motor off in one......
Check oil and then Empty and replace......
New allbright solenoid and if ya can a new 6hp motor........

have sent mine to Arbil, they do a good job for a fair price.

Err NO! never rebuilt an 8274 & I aint starting now thanks Jay! :icon_biggrin: He keeps mentioning motors etc to me & I just keep saying the word gigglepin to him!
