Title: wrangler yj parking brake ?

does anyone know if any of the uk spec yjs have the foot operated parking brake option ? 
if so does anyone know how they were set up ?

Highly doubtful as they attached to left side. AFAIK no UK YJ has a foot parking brake. And you should count your blessings as they're total shit.

Only the LHD examples that came in.....mostly from Howes Motors....
Mine is one of those and the cables go along the left inside of frame loop up and connect to ratchet foot mechanism to activate and pull lever under left of dash for release.
No more effective than any handbrake or parking brake or e-brake.....

mine is decommissioned so if you really wanted it could be dismantled and removed from vehicle....... For Merlot and Jaffa cakes :icon_super:

And that will be the original one, that was subject to a recall notice as the ratchet would disengage. Usually at very inopportune moments. Ask me how I know... :-
