Title: tj wrangler transfer box

hi today my transfer box has given up the will to live was a good trial ended up 2 to a classic range rover anyway
does the Cherokee transfer box fit which one will fit mine is a 1996-7 4.0 manual many thanks in advance lots off banging and no drive to rear prop only just made it home
but didn't need the tow off shame from the 90 lr on way home

I think you have a 231 transfer so as far as i'm aware a diesel chreokee one is the same, 4ltrs have the 242.

thank you donk498 have found 2 one is 21 spline one is 23 so got to get it out to find out which one it is

I shall have a guess at 23 spline, but have no frickin idea if i'm right  :003: Let me know how many it has for the future.
