Hi my steering box has decided to spring a leak and is leaving patches of oil outside my house . does anyone know where i can find some pitman shaft seals, i dont want to tell you what i was quoted by the dealers as just thinking about it makes me scared.

Get a refurb box, it's quicker, easier, safer and less hassle. There's a place in Bristol thAt does them for about £200 with your old box in part X

This is a recon box that is on and leaking it was fitted about 7 months ago and out of warranty. I went to my local bearing stockists who measured up my old ones,he got two off the shelf and i fitted them tonight job done for the price of £4.50 each.
