Title: 360 carb advice
Post by: UKJeeper on June 05, 2013, 09:57:40 AM
It appears that Freddie has a stonking great big Edelbrock 1407 4bbl carb (took the huge air filter off last night to see what was underneath).

I'm thinking that might be too much carb for the engine, and i might want to downsize. As i also have a 2bbl intake in the boot of the Jeep, might it be a better idea to with a 2150?

Is the intake stock or fancy?

Looks ali to me BD, so I'm guessing a Proformer manifold? Would need a good cam to make that carb and manifold work. I'm running standard 2 barrel and MC 2100 and its great offroad but not excessive amounts of power

Engine was rebuilt a while ago. I've texted to ask if it was 'upgraded' at all at the time, thought i very much doubt it.
