Title: Tyre Size

can anyone tell me the biggest tyre i can fit on my xj. it's got 3" lift and its been trimmed and folded a little. Want 31's really just need to know maximum width i can fit to my 16" grand cherokee rims.

the GC rims will be 7" width. Ive seen 265 widths fitted and 285.

there are recommended widths for the rim size, not sure if the list is still on this site somewhere

285 is beyond recommended but I've done it fine.
