Ok so after having good fun on sunday my gearbox needs to be rebuild:P(flushed already with 12 liters fresh ATF4+ but is slightly slip Inn between gears changes).I gonna get own rebuild kit from US just wonder about sensible labourer price.
What are reasonable cost to get it done???Any ideas???

I couldn't find anyone in the UK Willing to rebuild my gearbox, so in the end I changed it. One off a 2.5 diesel went in a treat.

Feel your pain.. :jpshakehead:
I used Neil Smith (http://www.yell.com/b/Neil+Smith+Automatic+Transmission+Specialists-Gear+Boxes-cannock-WS110JR-2534539) in Cannock a few years ago, all the parts, labour and breather modification were about £1200 total iirc.
A mate recently had a new box without doing the breather and drowned that one too..

I dont like to pay small fortune if I dont have to...
Master rebuild kit cost around $100 in US plus $150-180 new torque conventer(if is needed) and around 10 hours to get it done (that what I been told yesterday by mechanic) and they want £1000-1500.
Nice hour rate.I wish...
