I'm a newbie to Jeep ownership, I have a 1995 Wrangler 2.5 petrol, I need to replace the crown wheel and pinion bearings in the rear axle. I believe it is a dana 30 with the Tracklock? diff. How the hell do I get the halfshafts out??? :banghead: Any advise greatly appreciated.

It's a Dana 35.
You have to remove the shaft that the spider gears run on ib the diff carrier, push the halfshafts inwards, then slip the C-clips off the end of the shafts. They'll just slide out then.

What he said and welcome we are all a tad strange but harmless

you will need a normal 12 point 1/4" socket like this
