Title: Waggy wont start - guess its not bein transported today the BASTARD!!
Post by: Bulldog67 on June 30, 2013, 01:47:14 PM
bastard  :banghead:

So the waggy (AMC 360 2bbl) was meant to be transported away today  :banghead:

Chain of events:

All running fine
Sold it
Stripped of LPG
Not running at all
Suspect filter clogged as appears no fuel in carb and when disconnected just dribbles out
Fuel direct down carb throat and runs sweet 5-10 secs
So, bypass filter as pump (elec) appears fine (good 10x flow over filter) & connect direct to carb - still no fucking run :banghead:

Its seems no fuel gettin thru to carb  :017:

Im oily  :010:  and bored  :011:

Any ideas?

Ps. It still runs if petrol poured direct down carb throat so it must be be fuel??

Cheers gents

Was there any sort of fuel shutoff solenoid to do with the lpg that you haven't removed or bypassed?

don't laugh but you are trying to put the petrol in the right place?

the motorcraft 2100 (which I assume you are using) has several pipes that are for air/smog control and could be blocked off if not in use

a pic would help

Let me make this simple...

!:- have you fuel in the tank?
2:- have you a spark?
3:- have you unrestricted air induction?
4:- have you unrestricted exhaust?
5:- have you checked the fuel flow from the pump?

Well, one must consider this for rational. Your a Blue Oyster member (and regularly does bukkake) and I'm trying to help BD - I'm taking nothing for granted and logically going through the process.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes.
4. Dunno - how would I tell that?
5. Yes

It runs & revs fine when pouring fuel in by hand

And I got that fuel by turnin it over with the pump disconnected from carb
