Hi Peeps, Got a nasty noise on me TJ ! When I set off there is loud "crack" from the rear (of the truck that is).Tis definitely a crack and not a clunk ! which is what I would have expected if it was slack in the drivetrain. Any way checked out the prop uj s which are fine, and removed diff cover for a butchers at the innards, just in case any nasty bits of metal was lurking, but looks ok no broken or worn teeth. There's a bit of play when I turn the diff but doesn't seem excessive. Any ideas of what to look for ? Am I looking in the wrong place ? Doh ! Answers on a postc........any help would be appreciated. :017:
Ps Had to take the WJ to Tong for Jeepey Jamboree just in case the tj broke in the mud :jpshakehead:
