Title: CJ tie rod thread size

Anyone know what thread size and pitch the standard CJ (75) tie rod ends use, I bent my control and draglink today and want to make up a new one.

My googlefu says 11/16"-18.

Yep that's what I founds as well just wanted to double check before I brought inserts and jam nuts

Can you post some pics of what you do, I keep bending my tie rods too, and not sure how to upgrade a rhd steering linkage.

Will do, but plan is to use some heavy wall CDS tube suitable for the insert diameter (1") and weld the inserts (LH/RH) into either end. Job done
