Title: LCA Rub!
Post by: Brynjaminjones on August 15, 2013, 05:31:20 PM
I've got 235/75R15s on the XJ at the mo', up from the 225/70R15s it came with. I've had no problems at all, apart from when turning full-lock right I occasionally get a rub on the right-hand LCA.

This doesn't bother me too much, but what seems strange is that I swear it's getting worse, as previously it would only do it if turning on a hilly junction or something, but now it's doing it every full-lock right turn.

Is there anything I can do to stop it (other than steering less sharply!), and has anyone any idea why it could be getting worse??

Cheers!

Lock stops adjust them

As Kev says adjust your lock stops, but they might take some freeing up

Some photos might help Bryn sort the problem - I would post some but my steering isn't standard so might confuse things.
