Title: PAS pipes on Steering Box
Post by: darrenh on September 05, 2013, 09:24:40 PM
Trying to change the steering box on my WJ 4.7, the only thing I'm stuck on is the two pas pipe on top of the box. How on earth can to get in to undo them, no space at all. Any ideas anyone

On my XJ I found it easier to drop the box and then undo those, it just gave a bit more room.

oh and you might wanna wire brush and wd40 the main box bolts too soddin things are way too long and draw the rust along them
all spoken from experience too.

I did this, just last week.

Could only get them loosened without mashing them up, with these:-
