Me again lol.
I've fitted a new steering box to my 2000 WJ 4.7 (4" RC lift kit)
All has gone to plan now except I've built it all up, ready for road test and I hardly have any RH lock and lots of LH. I stumped now as I have put the pitman arm on aligned with the four wider groves. If I move it 90 degrees it to the next wider slot to far too much. Not sure if its me been stupid but I'm at a loss now. Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,
Daz

Do you still have your old one for comparison. The slot in the splines for the pitman arm is offset on opposite sides for left and right hand drive. My guess would be you have a LHD sector shaft in a RHD box.

Does seem strange that its so different than the one you took off. Double check the pitman arm position on the splines just in case there is possibility to put in more than one position. If you have it on correctly then;
Take off the drag link at the pitman arm, using the steering wheel count the number of turns required to achieve lock either way. Then once you have that go to the mid point and check the position of the pitman arm. You may need to adjust your draglink to suit the new PSB.

if the pitman shaft has been removed to fit new seals it may not be aligned properly with the main steering gear.dont ask me how i know this though OOPS
