Title: no warm air from passenger vents
Post by: BooBoo on September 12, 2013, 08:59:47 AM
Having enjoyed a few weeks of sunshine and warm weather in my recently acquired Grand Cherokee, I've just gone to use the heater to clear the screen and found out the passenger side of the ventilation system only gives out cold air no matter how high you turn the dial.

I'm guessing the blend doors have failed ?

The kits on Ebay look like a nice cheap fix, anyone here used them ?

You can get more warm air than you want sometimes

About an hour using the kit off of ebay. Through the glovebox really quite simple.
Worth cutting into the airbox as shown on utube just to make sure its not the actuator motor first before you buy the kit.

My car's off to "Just Jeeps" next week to sort the blend door snag and a couple of other minor niggles, so hopefully it will be fully sorted before hat and scarf is needed  :icon_biggrin:
