Anyone ever seen a warn M8000 in action?? Thinking of buying one next month.

I've seen one used on a TJ and also considered one myself.

I got a Superwinch EP9.0 in the end though

I'm looking at $592 shipped. Or about 325 quid. Don't you guys just love the VAT/import duty?

If you can get them so cheap why not go for the next model/s up. 8000lb sometimes ain't enough.

Think so? I'll be traveling back to the states at the end of the month and I'm bringing one back with me. I was also looking at the XD9000i but the price jumps to $800 from $592. Quite a price difference for 1000 pounds and an integrated solenoid.
