Post by: IrishCJ6 on December 14, 2013, 06:05:41 PM: Need to replace the ones on the rear prop shaft on the 6, what are you guys using? and where are you getting them from. I prefer the non greaseable ones as I'm certain they are stronger. Only got 2 years out of the last ones and to be honest they haven't seen much use so can't of been a quality product.

Rockauto & spicer a good choice too

Been told by the guys in the US to go for greaseable ones? What you think

Post by: bgbazz on December 15, 2013, 09:30:11 AM: Some of the earlier Ford F100, F150 and F250s use Spicer UJs and some of them are the same as those on certain Jeeps. If you get really stuck, it might be another avenue to search.

If you grease your nipples regular than maybe, as the new grease will push out the crap, if you don't do your nipples regular than sealed is better as it does not get in there as easy

Post by: Dutch on December 15, 2013, 12:10:25 PM: I got greaseable ones on the CJ but they are buried so deep in the UJ I cant get to the nipple (.... famous last words :003:). Tried with a needle but that was pretty pointless too.
