if it is legal to have the stop and tail lights as indicators on my TJ? (US style)

The reason being I have Smittybuilt rear light guards which won't fit over my TJ rear lenses, I have bought replacement CJ lenses which the guards will fit over, but there is no indicator.

no its not, you must have orange indictor lenses or white lense/orange bulb.....

you could use the cj lights & wire the clear part (reverse light) up with orange bulbs as a few folk have done....

Off to Halfrauds for a reverse light and some orange bulbs then...

Thats what I did Manda - Also you dont have to legally have reversing lights
