just stumbled across the MSD's Atomic EFI system, on paper looks like a great option for old iron, anyone heard anything about if the claims they make are accurate?

MSD is nice kit but they always advise on the package of cap coil and controller which can lead to much moolar for old iron installs

english?

I seem to remember that King CJ. AKA Johnno had his AMC sorted with a 'Megasquirt' system
And elex controlled by 'Megajolt'
Seemed to work well and totally programmable from Laptop........ He was also on Propane as well
just a thought.......worth a google..... :icon_super:

megasquirt stuff is good, I have built a few and fairly easy to set up, only done injection not carbs but as long as your carb is already setup it should be easier than setting up fuel injection
-
think that's the point of the MSD, it bolts onto std manifold, looks like a carb, and is easy to set up without a laptop,
they also say it learns from your 'driving' and adjusts to suit, but for me I like the way it don't look like a bolt on EFi kit

Well, good find Bruce..... Just sat through the video..... Sold me.... If I was lucky enough to have a 401 I'd be straight out to get one....... Very simple to set up........ Reckon Ade could do this :hysterical:

That must be Howell fuel injection money?
-
The wife would have to hit the streets for me to afford that set up.
And the cheeky bastard said fuel was dear over there. :017:
