These are mainly for road use but work can get sticky and I have rescued a few of my dipstick co workers when they have ventured onto the brown stuff.
Other than BFG's which I like but are pricey at 285/75/R16 anyone rate anything else, had my eye on these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285-75x16-HANKOOK-RT03-TYRE-2857516-HANKOOK-285-75-16-HANKOOK-MUD-TYRE-x-1-/171215069919?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item27dd36a2df
and the cooper stt. I need minimal road noise so don't say insa turbos please

I'll second that, and the are very rough and hard to balance
-
Must be a maxxis bias ply thing, my creepy crawlers are the same.

Hankook used to be in partnership or were partly owned by Michelin (80/20 IIRC). As such they have good compounds and some of their tread patterns are very similar to slightly older Michelins, so close in fact they might even be using refurbished moulds!
I've been using Hankooks for years on the family cars and have never been dissapointed!

KM2's every time foooking awesome tyre.

I have a set of 4 Yokohama Geolanders 265/75/16 M/T+ for sale .
Only covered 70 miles.
I bought them for my ZJ and then went and bought the Wrangler a week later. As the ZJ is not getting used offroad anymore I have put A/T back on her.
-
I am on KM2's at the mo (bit worn), am after the size, but thanks for the offer
-
No problem. I have not tried to sell them yet as I did not want to take a big loss on them and "as new" tends to not sell as new.
