Guess???? :jpshakehead:
THREE POINT NINE TONS
yes I was surprised as well!
It does mean that with the Lardy weight of the 1 Ton and the trailer that just maybe of a similar weight ........
Thats 7.8 tons coming at you MR tree hugger in your Prius :hysterical:

major factor the steel the tow bar is attached to
-
HMM am i being terribly sensible and saying
Thats over your licence limit even as one of the same sort of senior years as me 7.5T
thats is unless you is a truck driver
so shhh about the weight (bit like my lardy arse thats made the TJ list to starbord)

Wildwood is suitably aged to have the correct licence
no offence WW
the RAM can tow 7 tones on the ball hitch and about 14 tons on a fifth wheel hitch :icon_super: :icon_super:
although not in the uk :banghead:
-
MAM for old school licence is 8.25 tonnes if my memory is correct.

:iagree:

The Ram i had in my avatar came in at just under 3.5 tons (4x4) which was just under the weight / length required for the RAC / AA to recover and they knew all about it too. Not all Rams could tow that weight, it was all dependent if it was a 1500 2500 3500 and either petrol or diesel too. Not so sure about the previous model to mine though.

Bigjeepzj is correct on all counts......old hippie bastard that got test whenyoudidnt need belts or even a crash helmet on yer bike.
and yes I read 7.5 tons flat tow ......which inEnglish is towing using tow bar and with swan neck or 5 the wheel tow motor home type trailer Tis 12.5 tons
All a bit frightening really cos seems fine towing what you have seen me tow"......anything more and I do think you might be pushing the envelope.....maybe why they do a spendy exhaust brake option onthe diesel.........

gets more fun when you tow at 100%, now that takes some planning
