Title: 1999 grand cherokee brake pedal wobberly

Hi , I have a 1999 3.1 td grand cherokee , today while driving to work I noticed the brake pedal was moving side to side when braking , once I had parked I had look and it has sideways movement , any ideas on what it could be and how to fix it .

most likely you will find some lateral movement in a brake pedal but i would assume the pivot pin or location hole has worn due to some heavy foot work over the years pushing at an angle
