Title: Number of splines for a locker
Post by: Mike2909 on June 16, 2014, 09:46:59 PM
Probably one of my more stupid questions. :tool: When buying lockers it states for 30 spline or 27 spline etc. How do you know how many splines you have , do you just count them or is there something I should know? :jpshakehead:

If it's for the front axle then standard is 27 spline but there are upgrade parts to fit 30splines shafts and this obviously also needs a 30 spline locker. Not sure on rear but the principle is the same, match shafts to locker and fit. My Chrysler axle is 29 spline.

Logical but to know how many splines the shafts have, I just have to count them then ?
