				Hi All
I have a 2005 (55) Jeep Grand Cherokee, 3.0 CRD and a couple of times recently after driving for about an hour I have arrived at home and reversed onto the drive. As I select reverse it just sits there doing nothing for a few seconds, then it will go into reverse and work fine. I can then select forward or reverse and it all works properly.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what is going on and able to offer and advice?
 TIA

				check the fluid level.
i could be a sticky solenoid on you valve body or the switch in the selector leaver.

				How many miles on it?

I will have the fluid checked, although I am certain that the last time it was serviced, I asked them to do it...
It has 92000 miles on the clock.
 Thanks

Has it had the flash update done on the transmission? Ours has had it done and it perfectly smooth.

Hi, not as far as I know... How can I check if it has had it?

If it's not in the paper work you have with the jeep, give a dealer a call and they will want VIN number and will do a check.
