Post by: Dutch on December 24, 2014, 02:53:29 PM
Hi Chaps,

Young muppets skoda, that we bought of TC went into garage for some TLC + mot.

Advisory on rear discs.  So going forward some spannering involved but what do I buy ? (might as well do fronts as well + all pads)

Going on the Bay for : Rear brake disc for 2003 Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDI throws up 2 million hits.

Is cheap nasty? ........ and would fitment be ok? or buy top dollah $

Any pointers as to make/price/where to get ?

Thanks.

Thinking about this a little more, I have decided in this instance to explain logic in BIRTY SPEAK, so here we have it...

You decide to visit a brass (I did say BIRTY SPEAK) so you have the following options:-

1} she looks the part, but has no real substance (smoke and mirror).
2) she is cheap and in daylight is a MUTT (it's all spit and saw dust).
3) she will give double value, but is this FUZZY logic ? (indeed it is you silly boy - double MOFOing trouble).
4) she comes from a BEST mate syndrome (yep you guessed it, some other fooker has done it )!!!
5) she has had some traffic (using used/take off parts) please.....Don't bother!!
6) she has EBLAG recommendations (sheep syndrome)
7) she has moves (so does a lap dancer) sprinkle fairy dust is not everything, no matter what the "KY" say!
8) she promises everything.......ER ........ER ........ER........ Get out of my way SINNER !!!!!!!

Advisory? Have a look at them, they're probably going to serviceable at least until the pads are worn out.
