Title: 99 XJ Modular steels - centre caps
Post by: originalracingsnake on January 01, 2015, 02:00:46 PM: I have fitted a set of steel modulars, but am concerned about the exposed hubs. Does anyone have a source for centre caps that will fit?

Post by: Brachunky on January 01, 2015, 07:10:09 PM: These are now virtually unavailable in the UK I am led to believe. Having bought wheels from JCS in Notts and Devon 4x4, they both no longer import caps :icon_sad: You ask Dave at Llama to bring you a set in from the states?

Had those on my standard steels, didn't fit the mods tho :banghead: so no centres on mine either, don't miss them. :098:

We done that years back on a bloke at work, couple of marbles behind the hub cap. :D

exposed grease attracts muck and stones which then turns into a grinding paste on moving parts

Pop a few in a flat tobacco tin under the back seat of a mates car.
Take them out every now and again, it'll drive him nuts.
