What a cute company Arb are, today I received the shim kit I ordered and the replacement seal housing, for those who don't know the seal housing consists of a steel ring your air seals run in and the copper pipe that connects your air from the diff casing through the seal housing and into the locker, well opened it up and the tight so and so,s don't even give you a copper olive, now this olive is the only part you cant take the chance of getting off the old unit without damaging so making it a waste of time starting the job, so I've just had to spend another 17 odd quid plus postage for a bulkhead fitting kit of which one part is the said olive.

Dunno about now, but one used to be able to buy various sized olives in a small set (tin box) from Halfrauds.

I prob could source one, but means going into the diff again and cutting old one out to match, at least this way I know I have the right one because after all, these dana diffs are not the easiest diffs to take out and put back in.
But would be so much simpler if they supplied the bloody thing with the replacement seal housing
