Got a mate Andy who should be along to introduce himself shortly, for some reason he's decided I have some idea what I'm talking about when it comes to Jeeps (I know a little and I'm learning :prayer:

hi mate
i have a 3" skyjacker lift & running 31's.....yes there is a big difference in gearing but i live with it!! as for rubbing issues, he will have to adjust the steering stops but thats about it!!
-
Thanks Paul
And James (below)
James how was Corri-whatsit?
-
I'd agree with KD.
When it goes on there may be some bit and pieces to sort out like bumpstops/minor rubbing etc. but it's no problem really you just have to see what happens.

(and the other stupid!)

I agree on the tyre size - the gearing is the main issue, which in turn makes the fuel economy even worse... :(
Also... don't forget that the front axle will be out of line - which means getting an adjustable track bar, track bar relocation bracket or getting the standard bar extended/modified. Then recentring the steering wheel. Don't go for a Warrior trackbar - there are completely shite - I bent two and a mate had one sheer completely...
-
the skyjacker kit comes with a trackbar relocation bracket.........
Adrian, which kit is he getting??
-
He's getting a ProComp Explorer 3" kit, which comes with a track bar relocation bracket and different lower arms

That's the same lift I've got. The springs are very hard, maybe a bit too hard tbh.
I've got 31x10.5 bfgs and they rub a bit on full lock but adjusting the bump-stops will fix that.

Thanks Folks - will pass info on :)
