Title: ZJ ignition barrel malfunction.

Had another issue with the BILs ZJ......my old one :jpshakehead:
The ignition key barrel was going past the starter point and nothing happening....

Had to sort it for him as its his work car....

You tube to the rescue.....

Plastics off the column find the yellow wire and snip
Run red to battery live and connect the two to an intermediate on off switch...... Couple of hours later.....jobs a good'un.


Taking it out and replacing is also covered on the tube but not an option on a bank holiday when it needs to be done by 5.00 when he had to go off to work.......
I must be due some good karma now :icon_super:
