Hi guys
Put the key in the ignition of my WJ today and it wouldn't turn, it has happened a few times and I need to change the barrel I think, have any of you done this? Or had this problem

The barrel is easy to remove, but the key has to be in the run position first.
Spray some lubricant in the keyhole, put the key in and give it a few sharp taps on the end.

Thanks for that, I have ordered a new barrel and will fit it as soon as it arrives

Had the same on my old XJ, took it to a locksmith and he stripped the barrel, filed the burs off the brass tabs, lubed it and put it back together again.
Was only £15 and meant I kept the same key so no re-programming of the ECU/immobilizer gubbins was required.
