Title: ZJ alarm going nuts....

Help! My ZJ's alarm is going nuts, it was fine this morning on my way to work but now I can't get it to dis-arm! is there a way to bypass it or something? Please help as I'm going to be getting some pretty weird looks driving it home!!

Should ad the fobs had new batteries fitted last week so can't be that?

find the alarm siren and take it out, the batteries are fecked, mine did this yrs ago, soon went quite in a bucket of water  :hysterical:

Jay had this,prob at Cheapfest 2014 and eventually took alarm out he has the details to explain this...

The Alarm box is behind the light switch and can be removed by unplugging the jumper cables and connecting the loom in to the Chrysler box and Chase out the wires and reconnect them

Could be the door control module (passenger door ) or crap in the alarm mechanism

Cheers for all the replies. The problem slowly fixed itself on the way back from work, after may I add driving past swarms of staring teenagers finishing school.....the gaps were getting longer between the alarm resetting itself and it going off, so all I can imagine is that the starter battery may have been a bit flat due to leaving the stereo on
