Dragged the heep into the workshop last winter and took it apart.
The mission was to get it lower and more stable, make the props happier and generally make it all work together bettter.
First job was to make drivetrain happy, to do that I needed to move the whole lot over to the passenger side 4 inchs so the props would line up better with the mogs. This was made simpler because of the land rover t case.
So 2 engine mounts to be modded/made

While I was at it thought I would sort the driveshaft for the front PTO winch and make another PTO for a rear winch

Reason was packaging, simplicity, strength and being able to get more lock out of the steering front and rear.for the bouncy bits we have air shocks all round, got these years ago very reasonably ( thanks JJ). Not used them before so we'll see how they go.

Seams to flex OK so far.

Still a lot to do.

Nice to see the monster stirring again......

It that a 'mono or uniball type of rear suspension'?

Remember you mentioning that a few years back...... :icon_super:

will you still need someone to hit it with a hammer or screwdriver to get it started?

nice over the top rebuild

More than likely, its a different type of starting handle.
The joint used for the one link is a balistic fab 3 inch ball which is rebuildable.
Other work done is engine heads have had new valve stem guides fitted And valve job. New paddle clutch. I had to extend the headers on one side and shorten them on the other because of moving the drivetrain over. Both props lengh changed because of wheelbase change.
