Running like a dog,lurching and sometimes cuts out on idle.

I'm presuming it's a cam sensor and will order one but how much of a PIA are they to fit??

very easy to do, it lives just behind the oil filler tube underneath the head.
best way is from under the car, held in with one bolt, watch for any shim washers when you take it out as you will need to put them back.
mine cost about £35 from the dealers

I got stung for £50 quid but hey ho.

Attempt 1 has involved much cursing and now I'm going on the drink :lol_hitting:

I'll try again the morra with my comprehensive range of bicycle spanners
It's like a snakes wedding down there with all that F'in wiring!!!!

I had to undo the wiring harness tie to move the big bundle of wires out the way
when you get the bolt out be careful pulling it out as its plastic and will be brittle after 12 years!

Sensor on runs sweet but still got a code.

Ahh well if it goes I'm happy.
