Title: carb gaskets 32/38 dgev - holey or not?!

Hi all, can anyone tell me if it is important to have gaskets under the carb and on top of the adaptor block that have the central partition in between the 2 choke holes? ive got some that have  one large oval ,  not the 2 choke holes. im not sure if it matters or not? thx
