Title: Zj gearbox crossmember clearance modification

Hi is there a way of modifying my gearbox crossmember to give me more clearance I went off roading today and I got stuck on the mount also last time I got stuck was because of the mount can I just cut it so it's a single plate instead of box or I also thought of a large piece of plate say 1/4 inch thick I wanna keep the rubber mount thanks in advance Rob

Hi I don't at the minute but I'm getting a 3" lift off eBay that comes with a transfer case drop

on my XJ I have had to beef up the crossmember because of bending it - it now has a 10mm fillet on the front and 8mm underneath it
