Hi all,
I have a problem with my jeep, I know it's a common problem but I'm having issues finding what I need. I have a snapped stud in the engine who's I am having removed tomorrow, however I'm struggling to find a replacement stud.
I have searched the Internet and can't seem to find any in the UK, has anyone else had this issue? If so please could you supply with the supplier.
Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been mentioned before but I could not find it anywhere.
Thanks again

The studs are 3/8" UNC/UNF x 1.75"
I've set a reminder alarm for tomorrow when I'll be in work (I'll forget otherwise). If we have any I'll let you know.

Ok great thanks Jonny, I'll wait to hear from you.

We have only one but it's a bit short at only 1.55" long

Part number in the 97 parts list is 53010165. The same stud is used on the 4.0L engine and in the 06 parts list the number is 06036193AA. I don't know how far you are from a Jeep dealer (or fiat maybe?) but they may be available still with that newer part number.
If you have a look at the link below the pic (click it) shows the stud has an e-torx at the end for fitting. Maybe the one I found at work will be long enough. PM your address and I'll stick it in the post to you. Got to be worth a try. If it's too short you can always try the number above at a dealers.

Hi Jonny,
I phoned a local dealer Fiat and jeep but had no luck, also called a few online jeep specialist but still no luck.
I ended up having to order them from America, should arrive next week Weds hopefully.
Thanks again for being so helpful.
