Title: xj 2.5td VM ARRR! Hydraulic valve lifters

Does anyone know what else I could try to get the remaining valve lifter out of the block .I am in the process of replacing all for new as I Had one fail . Seven have come out really easy only a magnet even the one that was broken. The  1 remaining little f** only comes so far then wont budge . Any Help would be much appreciated

Could you drill it and fit a self tapper that you grab with a pair of long nose pliers and yank or weld something to it to get it out or warm around it
