Title: JGC ZJ Driver's seat repair
Post by: Sooty Si on May 04, 2016, 11:03:55 PM
Hi all,

Is it possible to:

Remove and replace the driver's seat padding and heated element without removing the seat from the Jeep? The bolts holding the seat down are feckin' tight and WILL shear if I continue. The seat base is lumpy and uncomfortable, the heated element doesnt work and the Lumbar support is in the wrong position for me but when pressing the button to adjust it, it just makes a clicking sound and doesn't motor, unlike the passenger side.

Thanks in advance.

not sure if you can do what that without removing the seat but if the bolts brake then you can just drill them out and nut and bolt them.

Let me know if you manage to get the heating element repaired, as I'm looking to do this soon!
