Hi all, just changed both front calipers on my 1998 TJ, can't bleed them at all, pedal go's all the way to the floor, I have notice that the bleed nipples are below the banjo, are the calipers handed, I believe if I change them over it will put the nipple ( ooh err missis) above the banjo and therefore should be easier to bleed???? Or am I grabbing straws here, any help would be great!!!

You've got it, need to be the other way round
-
Cheers James, oh well, at least I know what I'm doing Saturday!!!

Yep calipers on the wrong side so up side down.
air goes to the top and can't get out
-
Air always rises - sometimes it's not possible to change the calliper location... the easy answer is to bleed off the mount.
-
constant flow pressure bleed is sometimes required
-
You could hang the caliper upside down with a cable tie but put something in the gap to stop the piston blowing out. Thats what I've done for a tempory repair in the past. Better off putting them the right way round.

:ace:, All done! Swapped callipers over bled and sorted, 3/4 hour......happy days, thanks for the help people!
