looking to do a spring over on ell heapo just looking to find out if there are any kits out there to do the job to get some ideas
-
Have a quick search on yahoo. There are loads of kits for YJs and wide track CJs including bolt on.
-
more trouble than they are worth in my opinion

Mine's SOA. Works very nicely. 30+" of wheel travel, no sway bars or track bars, can still chase the corsa's round the roundabouts. I have the RE SOA springs which still have no sag after 3+ years, rides not too harsh.
Longer brakelines, driveshafts, spring pads on top of the tubes, high clearance steering make it all work.
Sam Fletchers YJ is also SOA, and maybe Jim Waitts.
I don't think its more trouble than its worth, it just has to be done right. I prefer it as a form of lift over some of those U shaped SUA spring lift. God awful ride, not as much flex

uk are you using any sort of traction bar? if not how do you control axle wrap?
-
my yj is soa aswell and works great ,custom springs that flex and the ride ain`t bad either , had a lift kit on it before and much perfer the soa lift ,when doing my soa lift i didn`t use any kit just cut and rewelded the pearches ,extended props, brake lines, steering , works well id recomend it to anyone
if you look on the cheapfest flier you`ll see the flex-abillaty of me truck , and iv`e since added bilstein5150 shocks for maximon travel
just do it man its worth it

i plan to soa at least one of me jeeps just for the fact that i can both kinds of lift and make my own mind up but i wanted to loo in detail at a kit to way it all up but as yet have not seen a kit .
bolt on would be best so i could put it on another cj if need be

No traction bar. I used to have them fitted, but when i swapped from stock springs to the RE springs i left them off. Works fine without them.

Mountain Off-road Enterprises (M.O.R.E.) do a steering correction kit for SOA YJs if that helps?
