Title: Removing the engine cover on a 2.7 CRD WJ 2004

I know its pretty basic but how does the black engine cover come off ?

The rubber gubbins must be a bit stiff.

So its a strong pull from the front edge is it ?

Only ask as I can see some rubber mountings that look broken at the back on the metal framework and a bit of yellow insulation near the oil filer cap ?
