Title: WK front seat remove/swap advice
Post by: Dutch on February 06, 2017, 08:52:59 PM
May stick a leather interior in the Predator.

Any tips on removing the front seats - move fwd & back and just unbolt from the floor ?

How about electrics ? just unplug or do I need to disable the battery before doing that?

Thanks

Dutch - the leather is more like cheap shit Jeep vinyl than actual leather and crack really badly. Crack on if you've got a desire to do so. I'm sure the Haynes manual would say to disconnect the battery but I wouldn't bother personally. Just undo bolts and pull the seats out. Scrap that - if there's any chance of a seat airbag going off then best to disconnect the battery I suppose, just make sure you have any radio codes etc for when you reconnect it all back up.
